DAVIC 1.0 is organised in 11 parts. These can be classified in three groups.
Parts in Group 1
identify all the tools that are necessary to build DAVIC-conforming systems.
Parts in Group 2
describe how the three main DAVIC subsystems can be assembled using the tools of group 1.
Parts in Group 3 address
system-wide issues.

DAVIC 1.4 specification
DAVIC 1.4.1 Specification
While the previous DAVIC Specifications, from 1.0 to 1.4 inclusive are structured as a whole comprehensive volume structured into parts, a different structure has been adopted for DAVIC Specifications 1.5. These are composed of separate "tools" documents, describing each individual tools to be used to fulfill certain parts of a given service and of "service" documents, functionnally describing a given service (called a contour) and indicating which tool is used to fulfill a given function of the service. This makes it easier to manage the documentation and its publication as well as it makes it easier to understand what is the conformance to a given service.
The documents related to DAVIC Specifications 1.5 are therefore as follows :
| File name | Title |
| 15z07.pdf | Jitter concealment tools |
| 15z16.pdf | Applicability of DAVIC 1.5 Intranet Architecture to TV Anywhere and TV Anytime Scenarios |
| Cablemodem.pdf | DAVIC Cable Modem |
